Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and a device for casting a structural material with nano and micro mixed grains. The device is composed of a cabin body system (1), a heating system (2), a casting (4) and pouring system (3) and a multi-axis composite motion system. Also disclosed is a preparation process using the device, comprising steps of: smelting alloy; alloy melt being subject to heat preservation and then being poured into a casting mold; putting the casting mold into a centrifugal barrel in a six-axis motion system; carrying out a composite motion for the casting mold; and solidifying the alloy melt, so that multi-dimension nano structure block body casting aluminum and silicon alloy with the nano and micro size mixed grains is prepared. Casting duration of the process is short, with low costs, and improving the strength and ductility of metal materials. At the same time, the process has potential applications in polymer materials and inorganic non-metallic materials. Tensile strength of aluminum-silicon alloy prepared by the process is improved by more than 70% and elongation by more than three times.
