Abstract:
The present invention prevents the worsening of an appearance of folding caused by unintended adhesion. An expanding/contracting structure of an absorbent article, said expanding/contracting structure being characterized by comprising: a first sheet layer (12S) that comprises a nonwoven fabric; a second sheet layer (12H) that comprises a nonwoven fabric and faces one surface of the first sheet layer (12S); and a plurality of long, narrow elastic expanding/contracting members (19) that are provided between the first sheet layer (12S) and the second sheet layer (12H), along an expanding/contracting direction and with gaps between one another, wherein the first sheet layer (12S) and the second sheet layer (12H) have sheet bonding sections (70) that are bonded via a hot melt adhesive that is arranged intermittently in a lengthwise direction of the elastic expanding/contracting members (19), in a pattern of long, narrow stripes extending in a direction that intersects the elastic expanding/contracting members (19), and one of the first sheet layer (12S) and the second sheet layer (12H) is a low-adhesion nonwoven fabric for which the peel strength of the hot melt adhesive is lower than for the other.
