This structure for attaching a light source substrate (21) has: a base (10) having a pair of protruding sections (11) that are formed on a main surface (10a); a light source substrate (21) supported by the pair of protruding sections (11); and a heat conduction member (70) that is disposed between the base (10) and the light source substrate (21) such that the heat conduction member is in contact with the base (10) and the light source substrate (21).
