Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle body 10 which includes a dissimilar material connection structure and which comprises a roof panel 200 and a frame body 100. The roof panel 200 is an aluminum alloy panel member having a bend part 201 at an end thereof. The frame body 100 is made of steel and has a support part 154 for supporting the roof panel 200. The roof panel 200 and the frame body 100 are connected by continuous welding of the support part 154 of the frame body 100 and an area near a peak 202 of the bend part 201 of the roof panel 200. Along the connection section between the roof panel 200 and the frame body 100, the roof panel 200 has, at least partially, a reinforcement plate 210 connected thereto. Due to this configuration, at a connection section of a structure body which includes a dissimilar material connection structure, deformation caused by local expansion due to welding heat is suppressed.
