Abstract:
Provided is a structure for a compression terminal holding unit, which can prevent the irradiation of a laser beam at a laser welding time while holding an electric wire, holding a compression terminal and keeping a compression-connected state. The structure for the compression terminal holding unit comprises a terminal supporting portion having a press-fitting hole formed for press-fitting a press-fitted portion therein, and a compression-aiding portion having compressed holes, into which compression legs are inserted while being suppressed in widening. A generally U-shaped wire holding slit for receiving and arranging the electric wire is formed to reach the compression-aiding portion. A recess for causing the contact portions between the compression legs and the electric wire to face the outside of the compressed holes is formed such that the press-fitted portion is press-fitted in the compressed holes, and such that the compression legs are compressed on the electric wire inserted and arranged in the wire holding slit.
