Abstract:
Provided is a structure for connecting a crimping terminal and an electrical wire, the structure comprising: a crimping terminal (17) in which a conductor crimping section (13) and a covering crimping section (41) are interconnected and which is provided with an electrical wire connection section (15) to be crimped to an electrical wire (11); a water stop sheet (19) which has an opening (55) for allowing a conductor (23) and the conductor crimping section (13) to make contact with each other, has a size enabling the water stop sheet (19) to surround the conductor (23) and a covering (25), which are to be crimped, and is installed between the electrical wire connection section (15) and the electrical wire (11); and recesses (21) which are formed in both the electrical wire connection section (15) and the covering (25) and into which the bulged and deformed sections of the water stop sheet (19) deformed by the crimped electrical wire connection section (15) enter.
