Abstract:
A nailer has a contact arm (11) capable of reciprocating with a predetermined
stroke amount in parallel with a nail driving direction. A contact top (8) is attached
to and detached from the foremost end of the contact arm (11). The attachment and
detachment of the contact top (8) to and from the contact arm (11) is possible when
the contact arm (11) is pulled out by an extra stroke amount exceeding the stroke
amount in reciprocating motion of the contact arm (11). Pulling out the contact
arm (11) by the extra stroke amount is possible only when nails are not loaded in
the nailer.
