Title:
STRUCTURE FOR COOLING STATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1991/015049
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Until today, the stator (10) of a motor has been indirectly cooled by fluid after the stator is covered with a sleeve so as to prevent the entry of the fluid thereinto. Because the above method, however, is low in cooling efficiency and increases the outer diameter of the motor, thin plates (12) coated with organic adhesive are used as element plates for forming the core part of the stator and bonded to each other by heating after laminated, and the outer surface (14) of the stator is ground and coated with a hard chrome plating thin layer (16) for preventing fluid leakage from the stator and making the stator compact.
