Abstract:
Disclosed is structure designing method for installing a composite material including a polyarylate fiber and a resin in a structure, such as a vertical tail fin, as a vibration damping member, the method comprising: a step S3 for analyzing design performance for when the composite material is installed in a plurality of divided installation regions; a step S4 for selecting the divided installation region on the basis of the analysis result; a step S6 for analyzing design performance by changing the layering position of the composite material in the thickness direction of the structure; a step S7 for selecting the layering position on the basis of the analysis result; a step S9 for analyzing design performance by changing the fiber direction of the polyarylate fiber included in the composite material; a step S10 for selecting the fiber direction on the basis of the analysis result; and a step S12 for determining whether the design performance of the structure as derived from the design parameters selected in said selection steps satisfies a required performance required of the structure.
