Abstract:
The present invention relates to a structure edge protection device having damping rollers, the device comprising: frame parts capable of being fastened to an edge of a structure such as a wall or a column; a plurality of rotation rollers capable of rotating in response to the proceeding direction of a colliding body when a vehicle or in-transit cargo collides with the structure; rotation shafts capable of being inserted into the respective rotation rollers so as to support the rotation rollers and simultaneously promote the smooth rotation of the rotation rollers; elastic bodies capable of absorbing the impact applied to the structure and the colliding body by expanding and contracting during a collision by the colliding body; a sensor unit capable of generating a warning sound by sensing whether an object approaches thereto; and connection straps passing through and being coupled to the plurality of frame parts so as to improve the coupling strength between the frame parts. Thus, a collision between a structure and a vehicle or in-transit cargo is prevented in advance, and when a collision there-between does occur, damage to the colliding body and the structure is mitigated by absorbing the impact applied to the colliding body and the structure.
