Abstract:
The present invention provides a structure of an expansion valve for an air conditioning system of a vehicle, which comprises an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser, and an expansion valve. The structure of the expansion valve for the air conditioning system of a vehicle comprises: a diaphragm which is provided in an upper portion of the expansion valve and is displaced by sensing the temperature of a low pressure refrigerant discharged from an evaporator; a rod member which is provided inside the expansion valve and is moved slidingly up and down inside the expansion valve by the diaphragm; and an antivibration cylinder which suppresses the lateral vibration of the rod member and slows down sensitivity to the vertical motion of the rod member, wherein the inner surface of the antivibration cylinder is in close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the rod member, and the outer surface of the antivibration cylinder is in close contact with a block of the expansion valve. Accordingly, the antivibration cylinder is mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the rod member which operates inside the expansion valve, and the antivibration cylinder is in close contact with the block of the expansion valve to suppress the lateral vibration of the rod member and the noise generated by the vibration, thereby reducing noisy vibrations inside a vehicle and enhancing the comfort of a driver.
