Abstract:

Provided is a structure for the front part of a vehicle body, the structure being configured so as to ensure the collision performance thereof against a collision type in which the amount of overlap of a bumper framework section with an object with which the bumper framework section collides is small. A structure (10) for the front part of a vehicle body is provided with: a pair of framework members (12) having a longitudinal direction aligned with the front-rear direction of the vehicle and arranged side by side in the width direction of the vehicle; a bumper framework section (18) having a longitudinal direction aligned with the width direction of the vehicle and bridged between the front ends of the pair of framework members (12) in the front-rear direction of the vehicle; and load transmission members (26). The load transmission members (26) are disposed on the inside, in the width direction of the vehicle, of one and/or both of the pair of framework members (12) so that, in a range in which the load transmission members (26) overlap the framework members (12) in the vertical direction of the vehicle, the load transmission members (26) face load receiving sections (22) from the front side in the front-rear direction of the vehicle and/or the outside in the width direction of the vehicle, the load receiving sections (22) being disposed between the pair of framework members (12).
