Abstract:
Provided is a structure for the front part of a vehicle passenger compartment, the structure being configured so that the resistance of air flow through an air conditioning duct disposed within a cockpit module is reduced. A structure for the front part of a vehicle passenger compartment is configured so that a cockpit module (90) is configured so that a steering member (12) extending in the direction of the width of a vehicle (10) is disposed above an air conditioning unit (50) having side vent openings (54, 56) and a center vent opening (52), the side vent openings (54, 56) being provided in front, with respect to the vehicle, of the steering member (12), the center vent opening (52) being provided behind, with respect to the vehicle, of the steering member (12). As a result, the side vent openings (54, 56) and the center vent opening (52) are arranged separately in front of and behind the steering member (12).
