A structure (100) for the front part of a vehicle has a cowl top opening (81j) for taking in outside air (AI) into an air conditioning device, and the cowl top opening (81j) is formed in a cowl top (8) disposed at the front part of the vehicle. An air intake passage (R1) for allowing the outside air (AI), which has been introduced from the cowl top opening (81j), to flow therethrough up to a blower air intake opening (64f) is extended in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The cowl top opening (81j) has small holes (81p) adjacent to each other with water repellent surface sections (81o) provided therebetween, the water repellent surface sections (81o) preventing water (WT) from entering the inside of the cowl top (8). The distance (L5) from the cowl top opening (81j) to the blower air intake opening (64f) is set to the distance the water (WT) having entered from the cowl top opening (81j) moves during the period from the time when the water (WT) is repelled from a cowl bottom surface section (5a) to the time when the water (WT) drops short of the blower air intake opening (64f).
