Abstract:
A structure for the front portion of a vehicle body, wherein a front upper member (2) and a front lower member (3) which extend in the width direction of the vehicle are disposed in front of the engine room (E) with respect to the front-rear direction of the vehicle and are connected by a front brace (8) extending in the vertical direction of the vehicle. The upper part (8a) of the front brace (8) is connected to the front surface of the front upper member (2), and the lower part (8b) of the front brace (8) is connected to the front surface of the front lower member (3). The front lower member (3) is located in front of the front upper member (2) with respect to the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The vertically intermediate portion (8c) of the front brace (8), the vertically intermediate portion (8c) being between the front upper member (2) and the front lower member (3), is formed in a curved shape protruding forward of the vehicle.
