Abstract:
This structure for the front portion of a vehicle body is provided with a hood hinge for supporting a front hood in an openable and closable manner. The hood hinge is provided with a hinge lower section and a hinge upper section. The hinge lower section is attached to the vehicle body, and the hinge upper section is attached to the front hood. The hinge upper section is provided with an upper surface and a side surface. The upper surface extends in the front-rear direction and the vehicle width direction. The side surface extends downward from the outer edge, in the vehicle width direction, of the upper surface. A first flexion point of the upper surface and a second flexion point of the side surface coincide in the longitudinal direction of the hinge upper section.
