Abstract:
The disclosed structure of the front section of a vehicle body is provided with: a dashboard lower (10) to which an aperture is formed into which a joint member that joins between a steering gear box and a steering shaft of the vehicle is inserted; a steering joint cover (21) provided to the periphery of the aforementioned aperture in a manner so as to enclose the aforementioned joint member; and a dashboard crossmember (23) that extends in the left-right direction of the aforementioned dashboard lower (10). The aforementioned dashboard crossmember (23) is provided with a pair of crossmembers that sandwich the aforementioned steering joint cover (21) therebetween, and each of the crossmembers is affixed to the aforementioned steering joint cover (21); and in the range covered by the aforementioned steering joint cover (21) and at the periphery of the aforementioned aperture, a clip hole is formed to which an attachment clip to which a steering grommet is attached is fitted.
