Abstract:
A structure for jacquard weaving by cross needles on a small-bore upper dial, comprising a lower vertical needle cylinder (1), as well as a lower jacquard needle (2) and a lower knitting needle (3) that match the lower vertical needle cylinder (1). An upper dial (4) is provided on the lower vertical needle cylinder (1); an upper vertical needle cylinder (5), upper cross needles (6), and an upper jacquard needle (7) are provided on the upper dial (4); a needle selector (8) that works in coordination with the upper jacquard needle (7) and a cross needle knitting base (9) that fits the upper cross needle (6) are provide on the upper vertical needle cylinder (5). The structure achieves any type of jacquard weaving by cross needles on an upper dial of a small-bore rib knitting machine, thereby knitting more types of jacquards and meeting more process requirements.
