Abstract:
A structure member 1 for vehicles is provided with: tubular bumper stays 10 affixed respectively to the front ends of the pair of front side members of a vehicle 2; and a tubular bumper beam 20 provided with holes 26, 27 into which the bumper stays 10 are inserted respectively. The bumper stays 10 are each provided with a first impact absorbing portion 11 and a second impact absorbing portion 12 which is provided adjacent to the outer side of the first impact absorbing portion 11.
