Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a structure and a method for constructing temporary earth sheathing, which use a steel plate as an earth retaining plate while installing a reinforcing pile vertically at a central portion of the rear surface of the steel plate so as to provide strong rigidity capable of withstanding earth pressure and water pressure, whereby the ground can be stably retained. The present invention comprises: an H beam inserting step of inserting a plurality of H beams into the ground at a predetermined depth at regular intervals; a steel plate inserting step of inserting steel plates in the longitudinal direction of the H beams between the H beams into the ground; and a ground excavating step of excavating the ground at a predetermined depth. The steel plate comprises: a steel plate body having a square shape; and a reinforcing pile installed vertically at a central portion of the rear surface of the steel plate body so as to impart rigidity capable of stably coping with the earth pressure applied to the steel plate body. It is preferable that the reinforcing pile is composed of: a fixing part which is formed in an H beam shape having a web and a pair of flanges provided at both ends of the web, in which a lower end of the reinforcing pile is inclined so as to have a pointed portion and any one of the flanges is welded and fixed to the rear surface of the steel plate body so as to come into surface contact therewith; and a drawing part extending upward from the fixing part and protruding by 30-70 cm from an upper part of the steel plate body.
