Abstract:
The present invention relates to a structure and a method for retaining an elevator door protecting panel, wherein a panel having various patterns and figures printed on a heat-resisting synthetic resin or a metal or formed thereon through sheet metal working can be conveniently retained on the surface of an elevator door and can be separated therefrom using a retaining frame and a retaining member such that, besides giving the exterior of the elevator door an aesthetic appearance, the elevator door is prevented from being fractured and damaged by external factors and can be replaced easily when fractured. The present invention is characterized by comprising: a protecting panel (100) having various patterns and figures printed on a heat-resisting synthetic resin or a metal or formed thereon through sheet metal working; an entrance-side lateral retaining frame (300) for retaining the protecting panel on an entrance-side lateral retaining frame of an elevator door (D); upper/lower and anti-entrance-side retaining frames (500, 600, 700) for retaining the protecting panel on the upper/lower and anti-entrance sides of the front surface of the elevator door; and retaining members (800) for retaining the lateral and upper/lower retaining frames on the door.
