Abstract:
A structure and method for seamlessly connecting an elastic band (1) and cloth. The connection structure comprises an elastic band (1), an upper layer cloth (2), a lower layer cloth (3), and a reinforcing sheet (4) both sides of which are coated in a hot melt adhesive. One end of the elastic band (1) is a bifurcated structure composed of an upper layer band (5) and a lower layer band (6). The upper layer band (5) and the upper layer cloth (2) as well as the lower layer band (6) and the lower layer cloth (3) are ultrasonically welded and connected. The reinforcing sheet (4) is hot pressed in between the upper layer band (5), the upper layer cloth (2), the lower layer band (6), and the lower layer cloth (3). The connection method comprises staggeredly cutting an elastic band, staggeredly cutting a dual-layer cloth, and layeredly welding and hot-pressing for reinforcement such that an upper layer welding portion and a lower layer welding portion are staggered. The method has the advantage of having no seam by using only adhesive pressing or ultrasonic welding. Moreover, a welding press-fitting portion is not elastic or is slightly elastic, thus the welding press-fitting portion will not break and has the firm reliability of seam connection.
