Abstract:
A structure for preventing thermal runaway of a battery. The structure comprises an outer plate and an inner plate, wherein at least one of the outer plate and the inner plate is integrally or separately provided with a recessed portion; the inner plate and the outer plate form an accommodation space in the recessed portion, a thermal runaway prevention material being accommodated in the accommodation space; and the inner plate is provided with at least one inner hole, the accommodation space being provided with at least one gas leakage channel, and the gas leakage channel being in communication with the inner hole. The structure also comprises an overturning sealing device, which comprises a sealing ring and an overturning sheet, wherein the sealing ring is located between the overturning sheet and the inner plate, the overturning sheet corresponds to the inner hole, and the overturning sheet at least partially abuts against the sealing ring; the sealing ring closes the gas leakage channel in a normal state; and the overturning sheet turns over at a preset pressure and/or temperature, such that the sealing ring opens the gas leakage channel. By means of the present invention, the accommodation space can be automatically opened during thermal runaway, so as to release the thermal runaway prevention material, such that the safety of a battery is improved. In addition, further disclosed in the present invention are a battery case and a battery.
