Abstract:
A structure for processing a redundant portion of a fiber-optic cable provided with a fiber-optic cable redundant portion processor body (60) which is flat and bendable and a box-shaped bendable accommodating section (61) for accommodating the processor body (60). The processor body (60) has a loop forming section (68) for forming the fiber-optic cable into a loop. The redundant portion processor body (60) wherein the redundant portion of the fiber-optic cable has been processed is accommodated in the accommodating section (61) and bent together with the accommodating section (61), so that the portion (110) that has been processed into a two-dimensional loop is bent into a final three-dimensional portion (110A) subjected to redundant portion processing.
