Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to suppress a reduction in the strength of a structure. In an attachment step, an insert member is attached to at least one among a first and a second split mold. In a first mold-closing step, the first and second split molds are closed together to form a filling space within the first and second split molds. In a filling step, the filling space is filled with foam beads. In a molding step, a molded foam article is produced, the article being formed by molding the foam beads that have been filled into the filling space. In a first mold-opening step, the first and second split molds are opened.
