Abstract:
When the tower bend section of a suspension tower section has a circular arc shape in a plan view, the concentration of stress at a circumferential end of the tower bend section is suppressed and a load is efficiently transmitted to a tower outer peripheral wall section. A structure 100 for the rear part of the body of a vehicle is provided with a suspension tower section 20 to which a suspension 6 is mounted. The suspension tower section 20 has: a tower upper wall section 21 which has, in a plan view, a fan-like shape having a circular arc-shaped outer peripheral edge section located inside in the vehicle width direction, and which has a suspension fastening section 24 to which the upper end of the suspension 6 is fastened and affixed; a tower bend section 22 which is a portion of the outer peripheral edge section, which bends downward; a tower outer peripheral wall section 23 extending downward from the tower bend section 22; and a first tower vertical wall section 27 raised along the suspension tower section 20 and extending downward from a circumferential end of the tower bend section 22 to the tower outer peripheral wall section 23.
