Abstract:

Provided is a structure for routing a parking brake cable with which it is possible to prevent interference between a parking brake cable, which is routed on a floor tunnel from the front side of a seat toward the rear side of a vehicle, and a shift selection device, which is set at a position on the lateral side of the seat and on the floor tunnel. A brake cable (23) that connects a foot-operated pedal (21), which is provided on the front side of a seat (S), to a brake unit (22), which is provided to rear wheels (RL, RR) located more toward the rear than the seat (S), is directed toward the upper surface (11a) of a floor tunnel (11) at a position more toward the front side of the vehicle than the seat (S). A shift selection device (31), which outputs signals for switching driving range positions, is supported by a support bracket (32) at a position on the lateral side of the seat (S) in a state so as to leave a cable insertion space (K1) between the shift selection device and the upper surface (11a) of the floor tunnel (11). The brake cable (23) is routed so as to pass through the cable insertion space (K1).
