Abstract:
The structure of a vehicle power transmission device includes: a power transmission switching mechanism (S) which is disposed between an output shaft and a driving wheel so as to switch the rotation of the output shaft; a first case (2) capable of accommodating the vehicle power transmission device; and a second case (7) capable of accommodating the output shaft extending out of the first case and the power transmission switching mechanism (S). The second case (7) is disposed so as to be superimposed on an engine (E) in the direction of the output shaft (12), the engine (E) has a first fastening portion (72) extending toward the second case (7), and the second case (7) has a second fastening portion (71) extending toward the engine (E) and capable of contacting the first fastening portion (72). A fastening member (73) for fastening the first fastening portion (72) and the second fastening portion (71) is disposed in parallel to the output shaft (12), and the second case (7) is secured to the engine (E).
