A structure for a vehicle seat, provided with: stationary members (24) affixed to the floor at an interval in the front-rear direction; a slide rail (12) configured from an aluminum stationary rail (16) and a movable rail, the stationary rail (16) being held by the stationary members (24), the movable rail being capable of moving in the front-rear direction relative to the stationary rail (16); seat cushions (6, 8) affixed to the movable rail; seat backs (5, 7) supported by the seat cushions (6, 8); and an iron reinforcement plate (51) affixed within a safety belt use region (27) of the stationary rail (16) at a position outside the position of the stationary member (24).
