Abstract:
The present invention provides a structure that is suitable for use in controlling the volume of an active ingredient released therefrom while being in contact with the skin. The structure 10 according to the present invention is provided with: a retention part 1 for retaining an active ingredient; and a release control layer 3 for controlling release of said active ingredient to the outside. The structure 10 is configured to satisfy at least one of the following conditions: i) the release control layer 3 includes a microporous film having an average pore diameter of at most 0.01 μm; and ii) the release control layer 3 is either a nanofiltration membrane or a reverse osmosis membrane.
