Abstract:

Disclosed is a structured text search-expression-generating device which, when there is structurally no element that acts as a guidepost in a related location but there is an element that acts as a guidepost on a display screen, generates a search expression that searches for a target element where said element that acts as a guidepost is automatically designated as a search condition. The structured text search-expression-generating device is provided with a sample text storage unit that stores for each type of text a plurality of sample texts that are configured from structured text that is to be searched, an element designating unit that designates a searched-for element in the plurality of sample texts, a structure-analyzing unit that analyzes the structure of the designated sample text and generates a search expression indicating the structural location of the searched-for element designated through the structure of the sample text, an image-analyzing unit that analyzes the display image of the designated sample text and determines as an image guidepost element the element that exists in a common relative position in the display image of the plurality of sample texts, and a search-expression-composing unit that, with the determined image guidepost element as a condition, generates supplements to the generated search expression indicating the structural location.
