Abstract:

Provided is a driving apparatus for driving stud pins into stud pin driving holes provided in a tread section of a tire. The driving apparatus includes: a shape measuring unit having a first shape measuring device which measures the surface shape of the tread section of the tire; a hole position determining unit which determines the positions of the stud pin driving holes in the circumferential direction of the tire and in the width direction of the tire on the basis of the measured surface shape; and a driving unit for driving the stud pins into the stud pin driving holes, the positions of which have been determined.
