Abstract:
The invention relates to a stud-welding process and to a device suitable for said process, wherein the immersion of the stud into the weld pool is achieved by means of a previously applied reset force that acts on the stud, and wherein the reset force is generated taking into account the lift for the creation of the arc and the immersion depth of the stud in the weld pool.
