Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for the study, determination or evaluation of a pharmacological activity (e.g., an activity on fibromyalgia, an analgetic activity, an anti-stress activity) of a substance of interest by administering the substance to a SART-stressed animal and conducting the expression proteome analysis of a brain tissue of the animal. It becomes possible to search for a substance effective for fibromyalgia or a painful disease or an anti-stress substance by conducting the expression proteome analysis of a substance of interest with respect to how the substance affects the change in protein expression occurring in a brain tissue of a SART-stressed animal, or the like.
