Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments may comprise: a panel configured to identify the position of a stylus pen; a communication module configured to transmit/receive a communication signal with the stylus pen; at least one containing space coil disposed in a position corresponding to the position of a containing space capable of containing the stylus pen; and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to control the communication module so as to apply a signal having a pattern for controlling the stylus pen according to a first communication scheme to the containing space coil on the basis of confirming that the stylus pen is inserted into the containing space, and to transmit a communication signal including information for controlling the stylus pen according to a second communication scheme to the stylus pen on the basis of confirming that the stylus pen is removed from the containing space. Various other embodiments are possible.
