Abstract:
Disclosed are a styrene-acrylic emulsion, a raw material composition thereof, a method for preparing same, and use thereof. The raw material composition of the styrene-acrylic emulsion comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of an acrylate soft monomer, 40-60 parts of hard monomers, 3-6 parts of crosslinking monomers, 1.5-2 parts of an emulsifier, 0.3-0.6 part of an initiator, and 0.1-0.4 part of a pH buffering agent; the hard monomers comprise an acrylate hard monomer, styrene, and functional hard monomers; the functional hard monomers comprise acrylic acid and acrylonitrile; the crosslinking monomers comprise an epoxy group monomer and a crosslinking monomer A, and the crosslinking monomer A is a monomer containing an amino group and/or a hydroxyl group. The styrene-acrylic emulsion prepared by the present invention belongs to a product with a certain degree of flexibility, high solid content, and extremely fine particle size, has good adhesion and sealing performance on a cement-based material, shows good properties of water resistance and alkali resistance, and belongs to a relatively environment-friendly styrene-acrylic emulsion, thus having extremely high industrial application prospects and popularization value.
