Abstract:
In a submerged discharge device, a pair of electrodes is disposed in a liquid in a storage tank, and discharge is caused at a discharge part disposed in the liquid between the pair of electrodes by the application of alternating voltage from an alternating power source. Coatings (31a, 32a) that assure discharge within the liquid at the discharge part are formed on the surface parts of the pair of electrodes (31, 32). Therefore, the contact surface area of the surfaces of the pair of electrodes (31, 32) with the liquid in a treatment tank is reduced, and consumption of the pair of electrodes (31, 32) is suppressed.
