Abstract:
A submerged electric motor in which liquid such as water and oil is filled or sealed, comprising a metallic frame (3), a stator iron core (1) fitted closely to the inner peripheral surface of the frame (3), a stator winding (4), and a connecting part (6) which connects the stator winding (4) to a cable (7), all of the stator iron core (1), stator winding (4), and connecting part (6) being buried in casting resin for molding, and a mold resin layer (5) being in close contact with the inner peripheral surface of the frame (3) to prevent liquid from entering a live part.
