Abstract:
Provided is a subscriber identity module etc. such as a UIM which is not machine dependent and makes it possible to customize menu configurations and the like and to display the customized menu configurations and the like. A subscriber identity module such as a UIM (85) is provided with: a storage means such as RAM (87) and ROM (88); and a CPU (86) which is a control means. The storage means such as the RAM (87) and ROM (88) stores an elementary file (EF) which has editing data stored therein, and stores a USAT program which reads out and executes the editing data stored in the EF. The CPU (86) which is the control means uses the USAT program to read out the editing data stored in the EF and to execute the result as a proactive command.
