Title:
SUBSTANCE HAVING A RECOGNITION FUNCTION FOR VIRUS DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME.
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/135882
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing a substance having a recognition function that can recognize viruses through a sialyl lactose complex comprising sialyl lactose produced by conjugating a linker into which an aminooxy group has been introduced and sialyl lactose, and a photosensitizer as active ingredients. A substance having a recognition function according to the present invention is a size of nano unit and can easily bind to viruses. The substance having a recognition function plays a role in preventing intracellular infection by the interaction of the viruses with the substance having a recognition function that has produced a pathway in which the viruses recognize and infect intracellular receptors. In addition, in a case of viruses that interact with the substance having a recognition function, the size of the substance having a recognition function may increase, the binding of the virus to in vivo immune factors may increase, and therapy through immunization may efficiently increase, and because the substance having a recognition function comprises the photosensitizer, when the substance having a recognition function is irradiated with light, the substance having a recognition function can induce direct death of the viruses according to photodynamic therapy (PDT) effect, so can treat viral diseases, and in addition, immunity induction is even higher, and thus the substance having a recognition function can be an innovative therapy for viruses, and accordingly can be used to treat bacterial cells and the like.
