Title:
SUBSTANCE MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR MEASURING SUBSTANCE TO BE MEASURED AS COENZYME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/216757
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
At least an enzyme that takes a substance to be measured contained in a sample as a coenzyme and a substrate of the enzyme are added to a sample, a product produced by a chemical reaction catalyzed by the enzyme is measured, and the substance to be measured contained in the sample is quantified on the basis of the amount of product measured. If the substance to be measured is thiamine, pyruvate oxidase, for example, is used as the enzyme; pyruvic acid is added as the substrate, and a cofactor other than the substance to be measured is added as needed to induce a chemical reaction. The thiamine can be quantified by measuring hydrogen peroxide among the products by a known method.
