Abstract:
This invention provides a substance sealing method for efficiently sealing, in an array, many substances such as beads, nucleic acids, proteins, viruses, cells and lipid membrane complexes, said method including a substance introducing step for introducing a first solvent containing the substance onto a substrate on which a plurality of receiving parts capable of receiving the substance are formed so as to be separated from each other by side walls, and following the substance introducing step, a substance receiving step for introducing a second solvent, which has a specific gravity greater than the first solvent, onto the first solvent.
