Abstract:
The present invention discloses tricyclic five membered sugar derived 1,2,3-triazoles compounds of formula I and their dimers and a process for the preparation thereof. Particularly, the present invention relates to tricyclic five membered sugar derived 1,2,3-triazoles compounds of formula I which are useful for screening of various kinases and other related targets. CLAIMS

1. Tricyclic substituted five membered sugar derived 1 ,2,3-triazoles compounds of Formula I and their dimers ;

Wherein, R is selected from hydrogen, (un)substituted or substituted alkyl, (un)substituted or substituted aryl, (un)substituted or substituted cycloalkyls, (un)substituted or substituted heteroaryls.

2. Compounds of Formula I as claimed in claim I are represented by the following compounds;

A process for the preparation of tricyclic substituted five membered sugar derived 1 ,2,3- triazoles compounds of Formula I as claimed in claim 1, wherein the said process comprises reacting compound of Formula II with sodium azide in presence of an organic solvent at 100- 120 ºC temperature for a period of 7-9 hr to obtain tricyclic substituted five membered sugar derived 1 ,2,3-triazoles compounds of Formula I;

wherein R is selected from hydrogen, (un)substituted or substituted alkyl, (un)substituted or substituted aryl, (un)substituted or substituted cycloalkyls, (un)substituted or substituted heteroaryls. 4. The process of claim 3, wherein organic solvent used is DMF (Ν,Ν-Dimethylformamide). 5. The process of claim 3, wherein yield of tricyclic substituted five membered sugar derived 1 ,2,3-triazoles compounds of Formula I and their dimers thereof is in the range of 75% to 85%. 6.
