Title:
SUBSTITUTED OR UNSUBSTITUTED ALLYL GROUP-CONTAINING MALEIMIDE COMPOUND, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR, AND COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT USING SAID COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/209236
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Bismaleimide (BMI) exhibits excellent thermal resistance (a high Tg and high thermal decomposition resistance) compared to epoxy resins and phenolic resins and has therefore been studied for use in electrical material applications in recent years in addition to attracting attention as a resin material for next-generation devices such as SiC power semiconductors. Conventional BMI is thus known as a thermally resistant resin, but a need exists for resins having higher heat resistance for advanced material applications and the like. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel maleimide compound having excellent thermal resistance. This substituted or unsubstituted allyl group-containing maleimide compound is characterized by comprising: a structure having three or more benzene rings; one or more groups having a substituted or unsubstituted allyl group; and one or more maleimide groups.
