Abstract:
A substrate for bioassay on which a specimen substance can be adequately placed or dripped on an arbitrary reaction region portion efficiently so as to adequately detect an interaction such as hybridization in the arbitrary reaction region portion. The substrate (1) comprises a detection unit (2) that has a data detection region (21) including at least a reaction region (21b) for providing a field where an interaction between a substance (D) for detection and a target substance (T) occurs and a servo region (22) formed in a region not overlapping with the data detection region (21) and serving to optically provide position information on the data detection region (21).
