Abstract:
For a sequencing reaction for determining the base sequence of a nucleic acid such as DNA, there have been demands for a substrate for nucleic acid analysis and a flow cell for nucleic acid analysis that prevent the DNA sample immobilized on the reaction substrate from peeling off during the sequencing reaction and that achieve a high immobilization rate and high analysis accuracy. The present invention provides a substrate for nucleic acid analysis which comprises a hydrophilic blocking layer, which has spots disposed on the substrate, and which comprises, on the spots, a coating film containing an amino group that is formed of a dendritic polymer.
