The present invention can efficiently provide a substrate structure, a method for separating particles using the same, and an assay method, the substrate structure comprising a substrate having a plurality of heterogeneous particles formed thereon, wherein the substrate structure is composed of a material capable of performing an interaction coupling operation, includes a separate material capable of performing an interaction coupling operation, or is composed of the material capable of performing an interaction coupling operation while further including a separate material capable of performing an interaction coupling operation.
