Abstract:

A subsurface soil remediation method wherein: an active fluid for activating a decomposing microorganism that decomposes a contaminating substance in subsurface soil is heated to a temperature higher than the temperature of groundwater and delivered into the subsurface soil by injection into injection wells provided in the ground, or the active fluid for activating the decomposing microorganism wherein the decomposing microorganism for decomposing the contaminating substance in the subsurface soil is mixed is heated to a temperature higher than the groundwater temperature and delivered into the subsurface soil by injection into the injection wells provided in the ground, or a purification fluid for decomposing the contaminating substances in the subsurface soil is heated to a temperature higher than the groundwater temperature and delivered to the subsurface soil by injection into the injection wells provided in the ground; and air is infused under pressure into the injection wells, and the air is delivered into the subsurface soil from a position in the injection wells lower than the position in the injection wells to which the active fluid or purification fluid is delivered.
