Abstract:
Disclosed are a subsynchronous oscillation suppression method and apparatus, and a controller for a converter, used for controlling a converter. The method comprises: acquiring the magnitude of power fluctuation generated by subsynchronous oscillation of a power transmission system; obtaining a compensation parameter of an active axis set current according to the magnitude of power fluctuation; controlling the converter to suppress the sub-synchronous oscillation according to the compensation parameter of the active axis set current. By obtaining the power fluctuation component in the power grid, and damping the fluctuation component, the subsynchronous oscillation can be suppressed. Specifically, since a power electronic device is controlled by switch signals obtained by series control of the active axis set current and the actual current, the compensation parameter of the active axis set current can be obtained according to the magnitude of power fluctuation, and after compensating for the active axis set current, the converter is controlled to suppress the subsynchronous oscillation.
