Title:
SUCK-BACK METHOD IN AN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1988/000519
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In an injection molding machine employing a servo motor as a source for driving the injection axle to drive the screw in the axial direction, a suck-back method is provided to smoothly carry out suck-back, preventing the screw from proceeding in suck-back at the final step of metering and kneading. When the screw reaches the metering completion position, the screw is no more turned, and the error register is followed up (S1, S4, S5) such that the error quantity stored in the error register becomes zero. Then, a torque limit for imparting a preset back pressure for the servo motor is released (S8). The screw is then retreated using a servo motor by a predetermined sack-back amount (S11).
